Time Commitment: Minimum of 40 hours a week; Some flexibility in schedule available.
Working under the supervision of the executive director, the Marketing Intern will manage donor and public relationship projects. These projects may include managing the development and distribution of newsletters, maintaining and updating website information, fundraising, and managing press releases. The incumbent performs significant duties with multiple priorities and tasks, composes routine and non-routine philanthropic/partnership correspondence and reports.
Duties and responsibilities:
• Under the supervision of the executive director, manage donor and public relationship projects.
• Promote outdoor programs through recruiting participants. Make an attempt to attract participants who are “at risk.”
• Prioritize workload to manage multiple priorities.
• Model Christ like behavior including encouragement, teamwork, trust, hope and respect for others and the environment at all times.
• Adhere to and diligently enforce organizational policies and procedures.
• Organize and manage volunteer efforts
• Participate in weekly staff meetings and devotions.
• Assist executive director with fundraising
Minimum education and work experience:
• Commitment to Jesus Christ, which reflects Christ in every aspect of his/her vocation and personal life.
• Working towards or archived a college degree in marketing or marketing related field.
• Ability to communicate effectively with diverse group of youth.
• Ability to follow oral and written instructions.
• Knowledge of personal computers and software, such as Microsoft Office, Excel, Publisher, Illustrator, and Word.
• Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing with the Operational Team, employees, volunteers, and public.
• Flexibility to adapt to a wide variety of duties, working conditions, and priorities.

Benefits:
• The Marketing Intern is an unpaid internship. Peak 7 Adventures provides the intern with a $500.00 stipend to reimburse any direct expenses.
• The Marketing Intern will work directly with the executive director and play an integral role in the growth of Peak 7 Adventures.
• The Marketing Intern will also have opportunities to participate in outdoor related activities.
